Colac, Victoria, the Otways and Great Ocean Road
For those travelling the Great Ocean Road many choose to make a loop inland along the Princes Highway. Colac is situated midway along this 'Country Way' at the eastern edge of the world's third-largest volcanic plain, where the fertile soil makes this area a highly productive agricultural, pastoral and dairying district. A number of fine colonial homesteads remain in Colac.
